Since its opening in 2005, KONG gallery has taken a leading role in introducing European and American photographs to Korean audiences and helping to establish young Korean artists in international art market. In 2005, Grace K.H. KONG opened her gallery with the first exhibition of American photographer Joel Meyerowitz in Korea. In 2010, K.O.N.G. gallery relocated to a new building in Samcheong-dong, the main art district in Seoul. K.O.N.G. gallery has represented established names such as Erwin Olaf, Michael Kenna, Bernard Faucon, Pentti Sammallahti, Chen Ruo Bing, Tim Parchikov and emerging young artists Jen PAK, Kwak Intan, Zin-Hee Park and Tae KIM.
