티나 이코넨  Tiina Itkonen


티나 이코넨은 핀란드 헬싱키에 거주하며 작업하고 있다. 티나는 1995년부터 그린란드를 정기적으로 여행하며 북극 지방의 자연 풍경과 원주민 이누이트(Inuit)족의 생활모습을 사진에 담아왔다. 그녀는 1995년 투르크 예술 커뮤니케이션 학교를 졸업하고 2002년 헬싱키 예술 디자인 대학에서 석사 학위를 받았다. 제54회 베니스 비엔날레를 비롯한 제 17회 시드니 비엔날레 등 다양한 국제 무대에 초청되었다. 


Tiina Itkonen lives and works in Helsinki, Finland. Since 1995 Itkonen has travelled regularly to Greenland to photograph the polar landscape and its people. She graduated from Turku School of Art and Communication (renamed the Arts Academy of Turku) in 1995 and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki (renamed Aalto University) in 2002. Itkonen´s work has been exhibited internationally such as at the The Finnish Museum of Photography, Musée Albert Kahn, Anchorage Museum, 54th Venice Biennale, 17th Biennale of Sydney, Danish National Museum of Photography, Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, Ludwig Museum throughout Europe, USA and Asia.
